Tablewise

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 10, 2026

The short version: Tablewise doesn’t have accounts, doesn’t show ads, and doesn’t track you. Your household, diets, allergies, meal plans and shopping lists stay on your phone. The only data that leaves your device is what’s needed to process and verify a purchase. The app also downloads recipe photos from our website, which sends nothing about you or your household.

Information stored on your device

To plan meals, you enter names (or nicknames) for the people you cook for, their diets, food allergies and foods they won’t eat, the meals you want planned, an optional calorie limit, and the kitchen equipment you have. Tablewise also stores your meal plans, favorite and rated recipes, and your shopping list.

All of this is stored only on your device. We don’t receive it, and it isn’t sent to any server. If you delete the app, or use Settings › Reset all data, it’s gone.

Purchases

Purchases are made through Google Play on Android and the App Store on iPhone. Google or Apple processes your payment; we never see your payment details. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Apple’s Privacy Policy.

We use RevenueCat to manage purchases. When you open the app or make a purchase, RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID generated on your device, your purchase history (products, dates, prices), and basic technical information (such as device model, OS and app version, country/storefront, and IP address). We use this only to unlock Premium, restore purchases, and understand sales in aggregate. This information is not linked to your name or contact details, and it is not used for advertising or to track you across other apps or websites.

Recipe photos and the popular list

Tablewise downloads recipe photos and the “Popular right now” list from our website, which is hosted by Vercel. These requests contain nothing about you, your household or your plans. Like any website, our host receives your IP address and basic technical details to deliver the files; we don’t use them to identify or track you.

Notifications

If you allow notifications and turn them on, the app schedules meal reminders on your device. These are local notifications created on your phone; no push-notification service or token is used.

Photos

If you save your week card, Tablewise adds that one picture to your photo gallery. It only asks to add photos; it never reads or uploads your photos.

What we don’t do

Health-related information

Diets, allergies and calorie limits you enter are used only on your device to choose recipes. Tablewise is not a medical or dietary service. Calorie and protein figures are estimates calculated from USDA nutrition data and vary with brands and portions. Always check product labels when cooking for allergies.

Children

Tablewise is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices and rights

You can delete everything stored by the app with Settings › Reset all data or by deleting the app. To ask about or delete subscription records held by RevenueCat, email us and we’ll handle the request. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information; contact us to use them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date above and, for meaningful changes, mention it in the app’s release notes.
